Conduit Tech is awarded funding from TomKat's Innovation Transfer Program

We are developing a residential HVAC sensor-enabled data platform that saves property owners and contractors time and money by monitoring for drops in efficiency, predicting future maintenance events, identifying timely upgrades that move homes to net zero paths, and suggesting optimal installation designs.

We're excited to share that Conduit Tech has been selected to receive funding through the TomKat Center's Innovation Transfer Program at Stanford University.

This grant will support our work developing a residential HVAC sensor-enabled data platform designed to save property owners and contractors time and money. Our technology monitors for drops in efficiency, predicts future maintenance events, identifies timely upgrades that move homes toward net zero paths, and suggests optimal installation designs.

Why This Matters

Residential HVAC energy use accounts for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions. Even more striking, 30% of that energy is wasted due to poor maintenance and installation practices. At Conduit Tech, we're building technology to drive both of those numbers toward zero.

The path to more efficient homes runs directly through HVAC systems. By giving contractors and property owners better data and smarter tools, we can reduce wasted energy, cut costs, and make meaningful progress on sustainability goals.

About the TomKat Innovation Transfer Program

The TomKat Center's Innovation Transfer Program helps Stanford University faculty, staff, and students commercialize breakthrough technologies and innovations in sustainability. The program awards grants to develop prototypes, refine business plans, and conduct customer trials and market research.

Beyond funding, the program connects each project with mentors who provide ongoing guidance as teams assess market opportunities, plan commercialization strategies, and prepare to bring their products to market. Through resources like the Stanford Entrepreneurship Network, participants develop business-focused approaches with support from experienced entrepreneurs, startup executives, and venture investors.

Being selected for this program validates our mission and accelerates our ability to bring better HVAC tools to market. We're grateful for the support and excited about what's ahead.
